Michael Korney began drawing at the U.C.L.A. Extension in 1975. He has studied privately with Jeff O'Connell and Manny Cosentino. In 1988, Korney painted at the Royal College of Art in London. Before being able to follow his passion for painting, Michael Korney was a graduate of UCLA's School of Business Administration, 1958, and Loyola Law School, 1964. He has practiced as a CPA in Los Angeles since 1959. He lives in Beverly Hills with his wife Ellen, and has three children and five grandchildren. His studio is located in Los Angeles.
